The "Housing First" Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Program is designed for mentally ill men and women who are homeless. The apartments are fully furnished and close to commercial areas and public transportation. Rental subsides are available. To provide safety for the tenants and community, the buildings are staffed by trained professionals 24/7. In addition to an apartment, these individuals have access to case management services designed specifically to link them to the mainstream programs that will meet their needs.
